Qombo launches a Slack community to help PSPs implement Verification of Payee

With new requirements coming into effect, Verification of Payee (VoP) has become a top priority for European PSPs.

Because available information is often fragmented and sometimes ambiguous, we’ve created a neutral space to help Tech & Product teams move faster—together.

Qombo is opening a private Slack channel for PSP teams—whether or not you’re a Qombo customer—to collaborate continuously on VoP integration projects.

Several PSPs have already joined, including Shine, Swan, Lydia, Qonto, Okali, and Powens.

Goal: share best practices, pitfalls to avoid, and save precious time for Tech & Product teams

The VoP community, at a glance

A private Slack channel open to Tech and Product teams from European PSPs.

  • Topics: lessons learned, inter-PSP testing, best practices, regulatory watch
  • Neutrality: open to everyone, whether you’re a Qombo client or not. The aim is peer support on VoP. No sales outreach is tolerated.
  • Access: by request — contact@qombo.tech

What you’ll find in the channel

  • Implementation best practices: QWAC certificate management, architecture, status mapping (Match / Close match / No match), handling of company identifiers, and where VoP fits in the user journey.
  • Testing facilitation: shared datasets, edge-case scenarios, key contacts across PSPs and RVMs, and documentation sharing.
  • Regulatory monitoring & EPC analysis: rulebook updates, trends within the RVM community, and market-wide topics.
